What people actually want to know

How much does Invisalign cost in Bradenton?+

Most full Invisalign cases run $3,500 to $6,500 depending on how much movement is needed. Limited cases treating only the front teeth can be considerably less. Many dental plans carry an orthodontic lifetime maximum of $1,000 to $2,000 that applies to aligners as well as braces, and we offer monthly payment plans for the balance. The consultation costs nothing and ends with a written figure.

At what age should a child first see an orthodontist?+

Seven. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic evaluation at age seven, when enough adult teeth are through to spot crowding, crossbites and jaw growth problems. Most seven-year-olds need nothing yet, but the ones who do are far easier and cheaper to treat then than at fourteen.

Braces or Invisalign, which is better?+

It depends on the bite, not on preference. Invisalign handles crowding, spacing and most mild to moderate bite problems very well and is removable, which suits adults and disciplined teenagers. Fixed braces still do some rotations, severe crowding and complex bite corrections more predictably. As a Blue Diamond+ provider we place a lot of Invisalign, and we will still tell you when braces are the better answer for your case.

Do you treat adults?+

Constantly. A large share of orthodontic patients here are adults, many of them correcting teeth that drifted back after childhood braces. Adult treatment works the same way; it can take a little longer because the bone is denser.

The longer answer on orthodontics and invisalign

What the free consultation covers

About forty-five minutes. We look at the teeth, the bite and the way the jaws meet, take the records we need, and talk through what specifically bothers you. You leave knowing which options apply to your case, roughly how long each would take, what each costs, and what your insurance is likely to contribute. There is no obligation and no deposit.

Invisalign at Meadows

Our practice has earned the Blue Diamond+ Invisalign Provider designation for 2025, which places it among the highest-volume Invisalign providers worldwide. That matters for one practical reason: case volume is experience. A provider who places aligners every week recognises the cases that will not work in aligners alone, and plans around them from the start rather than discovering it in month nine.

Living with aligners

  • Twenty-two hours a day, every day. Out to eat, out to brush, in the rest of the time.
  • Water only while wearing them. Coffee stains the trays and sugary drinks sit against the enamel.
  • Rinse in cool water. Hot water warps the plastic.
  • Change trays before bed so you sleep through the first, tightest night.

Braces for children and teenagers

Early treatment is not about straightening at seven. It is about creating space, guiding jaw growth and correcting a crossbite while the bones are still growing, so that the full treatment later is shorter and simpler, and so that extractions may be avoided entirely. If your child does not need anything yet, we say so and see them again in a year.

Retainers, honestly

Teeth move for the rest of your life. Every orthodontic result relapses without retention, which is why so many adults are back in treatment for teeth their childhood braces already straightened. A retainer worn nightly, indefinitely, is part of the plan and part of the quoted cost. We would rather be blunt about that at the consultation than watch a good result unravel.

Questions about orthodontics and invisalign

Asked and answered

Is the orthodontic consultation really free?+

Yes. The complimentary orthodontic consultation includes the examination, the records we need and a written treatment plan with costs. There is no charge and no obligation.

Will my insurance help with braces?+

Many plans include an orthodontic lifetime maximum, typically $1,000 to $2,000, separate from the annual maximum. It usually applies to Invisalign as well as fixed braces. We check your policy and tell you the number before you decide.

Can I pay monthly?+

Yes. Orthodontic treatment is routinely spread across the length of the treatment, and we set the schedule out in writing at the start.

How often are appointments?+

Roughly every six to eight weeks for braces, and every eight to twelve weeks for Invisalign, with tray changes done at home in between.
